What Precautions do you have in place for Covid-19?
- The day before each appointment, L A Mark Speech Therapy
will contact you by email or text message, to establish if you
have symptoms of Covid-19; a persistent cough,
change in taste or smell, or shortness of breath.
- L A Mark Speech therapy will cancel an appointment should they possess any of the above symptoms, and will expect the same from their clients.
- PPE will be worn during sessions; gloves, apron/gown and a fluid resistant mask. At times where articulatory demonstration is required, a 2 metre distance will be maintained, and mask removed demonstrate speech sounds accordingly.
Do you Offer Home Visits as Well as Online therapy?
Yes, appointments can be provided at your home or online to support your communication and/or swallowing needs.Â
Depending on the nature of your condition, an initial assessment and an initial block of therapy may need to take place at your home to establish the most appropriate therapy plan prior to providing therapy online.
Can I receive NHS and Private Speech therapy?
You are entitled to receive both NHS and private speech therapy.
We may wish to speak with your NHS therapist about the therapy you have received, and can also work towards working on your goals with the NHS therapist jointly.
It is within your rights to consent to, or to refuse this correspondence between both your private and NHS therapist.
Which Geographical Areas do you Cover?
L A Mark Speech therapy covers parts of the London, South East and West for home visits, but is available nationwide for online sessions.

What are your Fees, and do you Charge for mileage?
L A Mark Speech therapy would be more than happy to discuss this with you during a free initial telephone consultation.
Do you have a clinic base so we can come to you?
L A Mark Speech therapy does not have a clinic base at this present time.
