Leeanne Mark

Hi!

I'm Leeanne, a Speech and Language therapist with an acquisition of knowledge working with adults who have speech, language, communication, swallowing and voice difficulties.

After years of hard work and studying; achieving an undergraduate degree in English Language and Communication, and then a Postgraduate degree in Speech and Language therapy, I began practicing as a  Speech and Language Therapist in December 2012- I have over 11 years experience in the field.

I currently work both privately and for the NHS, and possess a broad range of knowledge in communication and swallowing difficulties, arising from varied medical conditions, such as stroke, Parkinson's disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Motor Neuron Disease, dementia, muscle tension dysphonia and vocal cord paralysis to name a few.
Within this acquisition of knowledge, I have developed various therapeutic techniques to assist in achieving your communication, speech, language, voice and swallowing goals.

I became a Speech and Language therapist as I am passionate about helping others to achieve their goals when managing communication, speech, language and swallowing disorders.

I knew from a young age that I wanted to help others, whilst encompassing my passion for biology and the English language.

I am BUPA and AXA registered, and am registered with the HCPC
